What We Collect

When you use LaunchSpec, we process your uploaded video file to convert it into an Apple App Store-compliant preview video. We collect:

• The video file you upload (temporarily, for processing only)
• Your selected device and orientation preferences
• Payment information processed securely through Stripe
• Your email address (collected by Stripe during checkout for receipt delivery)

How We Use Your Data

Your uploaded video is used solely to perform the conversion you requested. We do not analyze, train on, or share your video content with any third party.

File Retention

Uploaded files and converted outputs are automatically deleted within 24 hours of processing. We do not retain copies of your videos beyond this window. Once you download your converted file, we recommend saving it locally — it cannot be retrieved after deletion.

Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full billing details on our servers. Stripe handles all payment data in accordance with PCI DSS standards.

No Account Required

LaunchSpec does not require you to create an account. We do not store usernames, passwords, or persistent user profiles.

Cookies & Analytics

We may use essential cookies for site functionality. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. If analytics are implemented, they will be used solely to understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the service.
